THE HOPE IS NOT DEAD.
Dear friends and supporters,
With a sigh of anger and, once again, of hope, we have decided to reopen www.doittoday.cloud. Our temporary closure was not ignored, and perhaps that was a good thing. It gave us the chance to reflect and to understand that we cannot let cynicism win. We cannot allow the dishonesty that surrounds us to have the last word.
HAND (Help A Nation Developing)
has always been a promise: a promise of concrete projects, total transparency, and no-frills help. And we have kept that promise. Since our founding, we have funded and completed a series of micro-projects that have had a real and measurable impact. You can see the details on the following pages.
We have worked with our hands, with our time, and yes, with our own money. Instead of profiting, we have lost a few thousand Euros to carry out our mission. We have never used tear-jerking photos or fake stories to attract donations. We have believed, and continue to believe, that the truth is our strength.
Perhaps the world of NGOs is bewitched. Perhaps people prefer big stories to small realities. But we still believe in another way. We believe there is someone, somewhere, who is looking for the same honesty that we offer.
We are not asking you to believe another promise.
We are asking you to look at the facts. We are asking you to support our micro-projects that change the lives of individual communities, not the swimming pools of executives. We are asking you to believe that a better world is still possible, if one has the courage to do it, one project at a time.

Con un sospiro di rabbia e, ancora una volta, di speranza, abbiamo deciso di riaprire www.doittoday.cloud. La nostra chiusura temporanea non è stata ignorata, e forse è stato un bene. Ci ha dato la possibilità di riflettere e di capire che non possiamo lasciare che il cinismo vinca. Non possiamo permettere che la disonestà che ci circonda abbia l'ultima parola.
HAND (Help A Nation Developing)
è sempre stata una promessa: una promessa di progetti concreti, di trasparenza totale e di aiuto senza fronzoli. E abbiamo mantenuto questa promessa. Dalla nostra fondazione, abbiamo finanziato e completato una serie di microprogetti che hanno avuto un impatto reale e misurabile. Sulle pagine a seguire potete vedere i dettagli.
Abbiamo lavorato con le nostre mani, con il nostro tempo, e sì, con i nostri soldi. Invece di guadagnarci, abbiamo perso qualche migliaio di Euro per portare avanti la nostra missione. Non abbiamo mai usato foto strappalacrime o storie false per attirare donazioni. Abbiamo creduto, e continuiamo a credere, che la verità sia la nostra forza.
Forse il mondo delle ONG è stregato. Forse la gente preferisce le grandi storie alle piccole realtà. Ma noi crediamo ancora in un'altra via. Crediamo che ci sia qualcuno, da qualche parte, che cerca la stessa onestà che noi offriamo.
Non vi chiediamo di credere a un'altra promessa.
Vi chiediamo di guardare ai fatti. Vi chiediamo di supportare i nostri microprogetti che cambiano la vita di singole comunità, non le piscine dei dirigenti. Vi chiediamo di credere che un mondo migliore sia ancora possibile, se si ha il coraggio di farlo, un progetto alla volta.
